To many, shopping is considered a recreational activity in which one visits a selection of stores with a intentional intent to buy a product. "Window shopping" is an activity that shoppers hold in by browsing shops with no target to buy, probably just to pass the time between other activities, or to plan a later purchase. To some, shopping is a task of problem and displeasure. Shoppers sometimes go though huge lengths to wait in long lines to get fashionable products as usually observed with early adopter shoppers and holiday shoppers. More recently compulsive shopping is known as a habit. "Shop holism" or formally monomania, these shoppers have an impulsive irrepressible advice to shop. The term "retail therapy" is used in a less serious situation. The nonprofit association Debtors unknown provides free support groups for shopping habit or monomania and other money related addictions.

Net Window Shopping will make shopping more efficient and more interesting. You will easily scan your neighborhood and know which shopping area is close to you or which shopping mall will make your shopping more rewarding.

With the technological advancement
With the technological advancement, life is becoming easier for us. Now you need not to go far away to buy your desired stuffs. Online stores are right there to take your order. But it does not mean that the mall hopping is outdated. I still prefer traditional shopping as it gives us the pleasure to choose the stuffs by touching physically.

I must say that
I must say that your post defines shopping in every possible colors. Yes it is fact that shopping which is considered as a nice recreational activity, may sometime turns into obsession. I think window shopping is a fun and it helps us to get informed about the new arrivals in the market.

Out of control
Shopping is much more than an enjoyable pursuit, it is a real and destructive addiction that can turn into a financial tragedy. Obsessive shopping and spending means that your shopping habit is out of control. Like all addictions, it has to do with impetuosity and lack of control over one's impulses.

Thanks for sharing such a nice post. I do agree with Bryan. You defined shopping in every possible ways. In recent times shopping malls are trying to go green by promoting green products. That is good way to act responsibly beside doing business.

I love to shop
I love to shop fashionable shirts from Saltlake City Center. I found it a great shopping place for me. Last time I went there to shop with my office colleagues and we bought various T-shirts and pants from there.

Not for everyone
Window shopping is not for everyone. Some find it boring to not buy anything or to not be able to go into the stores. Save yourself some trouble and don't go if you know that you won't like it. Remember you are here to window shop not shop till you drop.

Many people shop only when they need to buy something. But mostly people shop just because they love to. In fact people shop all year round. There are people who prefer shopping while traveling abroad. Some places in the world famous as shopping destinations. Shopping in Bangkok is full of excitement; there are so many wonderful shopping options in Bangkok.

I love shopping. But I am not addicted to it. I mostly prefer doing online shopping. I keep buying different things through online shopping. Online shopping is very convenient for shoppers. I recently bought a beautiful Summer weight down comforter for myself.

Shopping for babies are not as easy as it might sound. I prefer buying toys, sometimes outfits for babies. But recently I found some adorable, cute infant headbands which I think would make any baby look cute.

Window shopping
Window shopping is, for the large part, an unexplored art in our materialistic society. The purpose of window shopping is not to spend money or acquire new clothes, but to learn more about oneself and ones personal tastes. The ideal location for window shopping is a mall (indoor or outdoor) with a variety of different stores. But nowadays people are keener to go for online shopping to save time. And online shops are the places where it is easy to find out your required stuffs; from pin to elephant; from clothes to drakkar noir perfume.
